While technology is great, sometimes we don’t always want to be looking at screens, especially in the classroom.
That’s why Kiddom has introduced new print features!
Now, teachers can easily print activities directly from the Kiddom platform. Hand out assignments the “old-fashioned” way, have students engage differently, add more movement to the classroom, or simply switch up your activity styles.
Printing will be available on assignments with the following question types, all of which are optimized for print use:
- Written response
- Multiple choice
- Drawing
- Prefilled answer
- Multiple select
- Short answer
Multiple-choice answers will include bubbles for easy fill-in, while written answers include lines for students to handwrite their responses. Further, this is available on both standard and customized content, meaning that teachers can edit their assignments as needed for print use.
To use the new printing features, look for the print icon next to the “Assign” button on any assignable activity. When clicked, you’ll see a preview of what it will look like and get your computer’s print dialogue.
When printed, the activity will automatically get name and date blanks, be headed by the title and chapters of the curricula, and will be in a highly print-readable font making this a true one-click option for printing ready-made assignments.
