BALTIMORE (Dec. 8, 2025) — Kiddom, in partnership with Illustrative Mathematics (IM), today announced Kiddom IM v.360 Maryland, a new math curriculum built specifically for the Revised MCCRS for Mathematics for K–8 and Integrated Algebra.
Launching for the 2026–27 school year, Kiddom IM v.360 Maryland supports the state’s instructional vision to help every Maryland student master mathematical procedural skills, develop deep conceptual understandings, and apply those understandings to solve real-world problems. The K–12 curriculum, which is certified by IM, enables districts to smoothly transition to the revised standards while implementing a coherent, cohesive learning experience across grade levels.
Kiddom IM v.360 Maryland combines IM’s evidence-based, problem-based approach with Kiddom’s AI-powered Learning Intelligence Technology (LIT). LIT leverages AI to supercharge curriculum, instruction, and assessment, lifting administrative burdens so teachers have more time to learn about their students, connect with them, and drive meaningful learning.
“Maryland teachers are stepping into a new era of math instruction, and they deserve curriculum and technology that support them without getting in the way,” said Abbas Manjee, co-founder and chief academic officer at Kiddom. “Kiddom IM v.360 Maryland becomes the quiet infrastructure of the classroom: organizing lessons, surfacing insights, and clearing the path for teachers to spark the rich discussions that energize their students and re-energize them in return.”
Kiddom IM v.360 Maryland offers flexible implementation options for Maryland schools, with digital and print formats in English and Spanish. At the elementary and middle school levels, it equips educators with everything they need to strengthen students’ numeracy skills, increase fluency, and deepen conceptual understanding. At the high school level, it helps teachers seamlessly shift to the state’s new two-year Integrated Algebra pathway, which blends algebra, geometry, and statistics to prepare students for college and careers.
“Kiddom IM v.360 Maryland maintains the core tenets of IM’s research-backed, problem-based instruction while utilizing Kiddom’s technology to remove barriers many educators face,” said Kristin Umland, CEO and co-founder of IM. “Together, we are committed to providing every Maryland district with access to the content and tools they need to deliver rigorous, vibrant mathematics instruction, while supporting educators every step of the way.”
Districts can preview Kiddom IM v.360 Maryland in early 2026, with full course materials ready for adoption in the 2026–27 school year. Kiddom also offers IM Certified® Professional Learning to help educators shift to the new standards ahead of Maryland’s 2027–28 statewide implementation requirement.
